Fr. T.J. McKenzie (Chaplain)

e-mail: [email protected]

Prior to being pastor of the Church of Saint Pius X, I was the pastor at the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary for two years.  My first assignment was as the parochial vicar at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Hastings. Additionally, I was the chaplain at the Convent of the Visitation School during my time as a vicar.

I grew up in Maple Grove and graduated from Maple Grove High School in 2005. I then attended the University of Minnesota as a recipient of the Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship. After college, I entered the Saint Paul Seminary and was ordained in 2015.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, golfing, playing tennis, playing board games, reading, and watching any Minnesota sports team. I also enjoy traveling and try to get down to Florida a few times a year to visit my parents and family who live down there. My favorite saint is John Henry Newman.
