Families will receive emails through Sycamore during the school year with weekly reminders and upcoming events/activities.
Q: What if my child needs to leave early?
A: Parent/guardian must sign the student out at the school office before the student is allowed to leave during normal school hours.
Q: Does Frassati have a dress code?
A: Students K-8 are required to wear a uniform and adhere to the dress code. Uniforms can be purchased at Donald’s Uniform Store or Land’s End. Please be attentive to the khaki color of the uniform. *Frassati holds a FREE used uniform exchange in the spring! Contact the office for details.
Q: Does Frassati provide student meals?
A: Frassati provides a hot lunch daily through White Bear Lake Area Schools. All hot lunches are peanut free. View lunch menu here.
Q: Does Frassati participate in the free and reduced lunch program?

A: A health aide is onsite during school hours.
Q: What if my child has food allergies or other medical concerns?
A: This information should be reported to the office before the beginning of the school year.
Q: Does Frassati require Early Childhood Screening?
A: Minnesota state law requires every child to participate in Early Childhood Screening before he/she begins kindergarten. This helps ensure that all young children in Minnesota are well equipped and ready for learning and that families are aware of resources in the community. If your child has not been screened, contact the Early Childhood office at 651-773-6186 for additional details and to setup a screening time. Frassati Catholic Academy requires the family to provide a copy of the child’s Early Childhood Screening before beginning of school year. Contact the school office for questions on this requirement.
Q: Are immunizations needed for entrance into kindergarten?
Yes, Frassati Catholic Academy requires a copy of the immunization record before the beginning of school year. Contact the school office with questions on the required immunizations.
Q: How would I know school is cancelled due to weather?
A: Early dismissals and school closures are announced on WCCO-AM (830) Radio. If White Bear Lake Public Schools District 624 is dismissed early or closed for the day, Frassati Catholic Academy (Preschool-Grade 8) and Extended Day are also closed. The White Bear Lake School Closing Hotline is 651-407-7540. All families will receive communications from Frassati via email in the event school is cancelled due to weather.
Q: How do I signup to volunteer at the school?
A: To ensure the safety of our students, school volunteers working with students are required to participate in VIRTUS training (see website for details, frassati-wbl.org), sign a Code of Conduct, and go through a background check. *K-8 families are required to offer 20 hours of volunteer service.
