Frassati Fall 2020 Update
We know there are many questions about the fall and we want to communicate our plan based on the information we have today June 29, 2020.
Principal Gallivan is working with multiple committees to plan for the return of our students to the Frassati building this fall. The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis has established the Catholic School Task Force made up of experts in education, finance, communication, law, public and mental health. The task force is working in conjunction with the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence to support their work. Mr. Gallivan remain active in these meetings to ensure that our children will remain as safe as possible while returning to school on September 8, 2020.
Mr. Gallivan is also working on hybrid plans that would be used in the event that future circumstances require fewer students on campus together at one time. The hybrid model consists of students attending school in smaller groups and elements of distance learning. This plan is only for circumstances that prohibit all students from being in school at the same time. However, in school contact with teachers is essential to continue the learning process.
Plan C: Last Resort
The final plan consists of distance learning. This plan would only be used as a last resort. Mr. Gallivan continues to monitor the recommendations of the CDC, MN Department of Health, and the American Society of Pediatrics. It is our goal to use distance learning as a last resort.
