Catherine Urban is the Religion teacher for grades 5-6-7-8.

I have been a licensed teacher for over 30 years, the last 5 years here at Frassati. I have a certificate for completing the Catechetical Institute classes on Catechism.  I am also an active parishioner at St. Rose of Lima. My favorite ways to teach our faith include activity type learning, circle time discussions, reading the bible, praying in the school chapel, planning masses and setting up service projects, such as blanket making and sewing pillow cases. Russell the tortoise lives in my room in what is called his ‘ark’.  Russell is taken care of by students daily and he brings a lot of joy to all. Outside of school days, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling and being with family.
