Our elementary teachers build on the foundation started in kindergarten by focusing on the whole child and nurturing their journey academically, socially, and emotionally. Teachers develop 21^st century skills by meeting students at their level and providing differentiated learning, giving students a variety of avenues for understanding new information. Our teachers challenge students to have a growth mindset, to stop and think through how to solve a problem before asking for help, and to learn from their mistakes. Through small and large group work, students collaborate and learn how to listen to one another, building their critical thinking, creativity, imagination, and leadership skills. By the end of the elementary grades, students are more self-sufficient and are increasingly applying the 21^st century skills.
