Academic Excellence

• Small Classes: The average class size is 18 students and allows teachers to address the individual needs of each child.
• Committed and Caring Staff: Our teachers are highly skilled and dedicated to maintaining our tradition of academic rigor. Nearly 50% of teachers have earned a master’s degree or higher.
• Accredited Schools: All Catholic schools must undergo a rigorous accreditation process not required for public schools.
• Graduation Rates: 97% of Catholic high school students graduate and 97% of graduates go on to higher education.
• Test Scores: On the SAT 10 standardized test given to Catholic school 8th graders in 2012-13:
• 95% ranked average or higher in math problem-solving
• 94% ranked average or higher in science
• 93% ranked average or higher in reading comprehension

Forming Faith and Values

Co-Curricular Activities
Participation in the arts, extracurricular activities, and athletics enhance the learning experience and are available at all Catholic schools. While opportunities vary among schools, in general, students may choose to sign up for activities such as band, chess club, technology club and scouting. These activities enrich children, develop their character and allow them to celebrate their God-given talents.
